Online Bhagavad Study

If sorrow is our own nature. then we should have no cause for sorrow at all.
We should all be happy being sad.

Swami Dayananda Saraswati
Deep in the hearts of all, there is the light of all lights,
forever beyond darkness. (13:17)
Back by popular demand! I'm offering a 20-class study of the Bhagavad Gita online! This class will be 1/3 experiential and 2/3 discussion and sharing. We'll be using the second edition of my book, An Ordinary Life Transformed: Lessons for Everyone from the Bhagavad Gita. (see BOOKS page under AUTHOR link above to read excerpts and link directly to Amazon to order)

The experiential part of our study will include largely Mantra Prayer practice with a blend of breath and movement practices designed to be done solo. Each class we'll focus on a chapter, and you'll be asked to consider the Questions for Reflection at the chapter's end which will guide our discussion and sharing time. We'll also be learning and chanting several slokas in Sanskrit. I'm very excited about integrating the experiential aspect with our book study of this Song of the Divine!

When:
Tuesday Evenings, 6:00 - 7:30 PM EST, January 21st - May 13th. There will be several classes where we'll meet for 3 hours for review and to bring us to the 20 classes by May 4th.  Kindly know this class is appropriate for all whether you are new to the Gita or have long read its wisdom.

Fee:
$300 ($15 a class)
